Rear-Admiral H.H. Rawson (1843 - 1910), of the Royal Navy, 1897. In August 1896 Rear-Admiral Rawson was in charge of the British warships that took part in the shortest war in history - 40 minutes of conflict between Great Britain and Zanzibar
