Welcome Home! The Princess of Wales (Alexandra of Denmark, later Queen Alexandra, consort to King Edward VII of Britain)(1844 -1925), affectionately greeting her sons the royal princes on board H.M.S Bacchante, May 1880. Prince Albert Victor(1864 - 1892), and his brother Prince George (1865 - 1836), later George V, had just returned to Portsmouth from their first cruise, lasting eight months, of the West Indies on H.M.S Bacchante
