Royal Tournament, Earls Court 1950
A series of sketches showing events at the Royal Tournament, at Earls Court, London in 1950. Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen Mother) watches the King inspecting the Guard of Honour accompanied by her nephew, Prince Richard, later Duke of Gloucester. Other scenes show the Women's Royal Air Force drum major, the Royal Navy twirling half a ton of gun barrel, a musical drive by the Royal Horse Artillery and the Gordon Cavalry in historical costume
