Ceremony in the Place Saint-Joseph, Brussels on Belgian National Day, which is celebrated on 21st July each year. The festival commemorates an event on 21st July 1831 in which Leopold of Saxe-Cobourg swore allegiance to the new Belgian constitution, thus becoming the first King of the Belgians
