King Albert I of Belgium and General Jacques de Dixmude
King Albert I of Belgium and Belgian general Jules Marie Alphonse Jacques de Dixmude (1858 - 1928), strolling among troops at rest on a small Belgian beach. The king is wearing the new khaki he has adopted for his army. General Jacques and his troops prevented Dixmude from falling into German hands in World War One and was honoured by elevation to Baron of Dixmude in 1919
