Mrs Thomas Everitt (1825-1915), English spirit medium from 1855 onwards, seen here with her husband, a North London tailor. She was the first to produce direct voices in England, claimed to be of John Watts and Znippy, a South Sea Islander. She also produced automatic writing, raps and psychic light
