 : Angry man and burglar

Angry man and burglar

A humorous write-away postcard allowed the sender to write a greeting or short note on the front of the postcard at a time when only the recipient's address was permitted on the back of the postcard (ie: pre-1902). An angry man in pyjamas and nightcap shakes his fist out of a window at a retreating burglar who has stolen a rabbit. Artist: Evelyn Stuart Hardy
