Julius Diez

Julius Diez (1870-1957), born: Nuremburg, Germany. Painter, graphic artist, draughtsman, etcher and teacher. Studied at the Munich School of Applied Arts and the Munich Art Academy with Gabriel von Hackl and Rudolf von Seitz, later to teach there himself. He was president of the Munich Art Academy, and a member of the German Association of Artists. He was also President of the Munich Secession
