Sigmund Von Weech
Sigmund Von Weech (1888-1982), born: Landsberg am Lech, Germany. Graphic designer, textile designer, writer and businessman. Studied architecture at the Royal Bavarian Technical University in Munich and graphic design at the Royal School of Applied Arts in Munich with Julius Diez. He designed the State seal of the German Reich, 1921. Weech's design has been used as a federal seal and for other functions since 1950
