Battenberg family

Prince Louis of Battenberg (1854-1921), 1st Marquess of Milford Haven, later Lord Louis Mountbatten with his wife, Princess Victoria of Hesse (1863-1950) and four children. The baby in Victoria's arms is the future Lord Louis Mountbatten (1900-1979), then there is the couple's eldest child, Princess Alice of Battenberg (1885-1969), later Princess Andrew of Greece and mother of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Next Prince George of Battenberg (1892-1938), later George Mountbatten, 2nd Marquess of Milford Haven and on the right, leaning on her father's leg is Princess Louise of Battenberg (1889-1965), later Lady Louise Mountbatten and then Queen of Sweden
