Prince Friedrich of Hesse and by Rhine (1870 -1873), haemophiliac son of Princess Alice of Great Britain and Grand Duke Ludwig of Hesse. Known as Frittie or Fritzie within the family, Friedrich died at the age of two years after falling from a window and suffering a brain haemmorhage
