Postcard commemorating the marriage of Princess Alice of Battenberg (1885-1969) to Prince Andrew of Greece (1882-1944) on 7 October 1903. Their wedding in the Russian Chapel in Darmstadt in 1903 was the last of the great royal gatherings in the small German town, bringing together Russian, Greek, German and English cousins. The couple are the parents of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh
