Prince Gustav Adolf of Sweden and family
Prince Gustav Adolf of Sweden, Duke of Vasterbotten, with Princess Sibylla and their first child, Princess Margaretha, in 1935. Sibylla, the daughter of Charles Edward, Duke of Saxe Coburg, married Gustav Adolf who was second-in-line to the Swedish throne and her own second cousin. The wedding in Coburg was celebrated with all the pomp of a royal wedding. The couple had three more daughters after Margaretha and, in 1946, a son, who would become the present King Carl XVI Gustav of Sweden
