Prince Mircea of Romania
Prince Mircea of Romania (1913-1916), youngest child of King Ferdinand and Queen Marie of Romania, pictured in 1915. Mircea died of typhoid in 1916, with enemy troops advancing across the country and chaos all around. Soon afterwards, the family was forced to evacuate the palace and could not return for two years
