Princess Alice of Greece
Princess Alice of Battenberg, Princess Andrew of Greece (1885-1969), c. 1916. Alice was the daughter of Princess Victoria of Hesse and Prince Louis of Battenberg, and is the mother of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Pictured wearing the Meander tiara, which was most recently worn by Alice's great-grandaughter, Zara Phillips on her wedding day in July 2011
