Princess Beatrice, later Priness Henry of Battenberg (1857-1944), fifth daughter and youngest child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert photographed in 1860. Her elaborate dress, complete with garlands, gloves and fan, suggests she was dressed up for a special occasion, perhaps the Queen's birthday on 24 May
