Princess Louise of Battenberg
Princess Louise of Battenberg (1889-1965), second child of Princess Victoria of Hesse and Prince Louis of Battenberg. Louise married Crown Prince Gustav Adolf of Sweden in 1923, following the death of his first wife, Princess Margaret of Connaught in 1920. Louise reigned as the Gustav Adolf's consort in Sweden for twenty-three years and is the aunt of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh
