Tsesarevich Alexei of Russia (1904-1918) seen studying in 1913. Devastatingly for his parents, Alexei suffered from haemophilia. A lively and perceptive boy, with great strength of character, he was tragically assassinated by Bolsheviks along with the rest of the Imperial Russian family in July 1918 at Ekaterinburg
