They Recorded The Devastation Of The Battlefields And The Areas That Contained Allied Troops. Many Of These Etchings/Aquatints Would Have Been Sold To Soldiers Returning Home After The War Or Subsequently Purchased On The Many Battlefield Remembrance Tours That Took Place In The 1920s And 1930S
