British observation balloon attacked - WWI
An incident over the Western Front. A British observation balloon being attacked by a German fighter aeroplane. Jessett was undoubtedly a member of a balloon section in France and Flanders and he produced a small collection of paintings and drawings done around the Salient in 1917. (1/2)
