Finely hand-carved bone ornament by German Internee

Finely hand-carved bone ornament with raised foliate decoration of roses with a band of flowers around the top. Produced by German civilian internees in the Isle of Man. They were sold for the benefit of the internees by various Prisoner of War relief organizations, including the British Red Cross and St. John'Ambulance. Trench Art
