Nieppe - just outside the Northern boundary of Armentieres. The old Mill, where eggs and fresh milk could be obtained almost up to the time the Bosche attacked. My horselines were in the trees seen on left of the mill. By Lieutenant Major John Empson Tindall, MC (b.1885).
