View of the RE storeyard from farmhouse, Delacroix Farm, Sailly-sur-la-Lys. Bird's eye view of the Delacroix Farm as laid out as our depot. On extreme left was the large tent where numbers of French civilian carpenters augmented our Sapper carpenters in making revetment frames, dugout frames etc. which were then stacked under cover on the left of the cartway. On the right of the cartway are our wagon lines behind which, on extreme right, under cover are our horse lines. Extensively annotated on sketch book page.
