A straight stem pipe, finely hand carved by and belonging to Driver P. S. Wilson, a lorry driver with the Army Service Corps. during the First World War. Signature on base of pipe - P. S. WILSON. The bowl has the badge of the Army Service Corps. dated 1914-15, together with the following place names - PARIS, ROUEN, AMIENS, ST. QUENTIN, SENLIS, SOISSON, COMPIEGNE, NERY, MARNE, MONS, YPRES, AINSE, CRECY, ST. OMER, MEAUX, NEUVE CHAPELLE, VLAMERTINGHE, PLOEGSTEERT, ERMONONVILLE, ARMENTIERES, GODWARSVELDE. Trench Art
