The front elevation of 27 and 28 Greyfriars Lane and the access to Court 6, showing evidence of bomb damage - Coventry City centre was devastated by air raids in 1940. In this photograph it's possible to see part of the timber framed south end of Ford's Hospital which, despite suffering a direct hit was restored in 1953. Number 27 and 28 Greyfriars Lane also suffered serious damage and was demolished. The site is now occupied by retirement flats
