Angel Inn
The Angel Inn, Highgate, London. Situated only five miles from Westminster and the City of London, and the meeting place of several roads, the village of Highgate was a convenient stopover place. It had five inns by 1552 and 21 in 1841. The Angel, an inn from the 17th century, has experienced several transformations in its time. One of two albumen prints, this one c. 1874
