BLACKPOOL TOWER, Lancashire. Aerial view taking in the tower, the sea front and beach, the Winter Gardens and the big wheel in July 1920. Since completion in 1894 the Blackpool Tower had not been painted properly and the steelwork had started to corrode. Between 1921 and 1924 all of the steelwork was renewed. Aerofilms Collection
