British Embassy in Berlin
British Embassy, 70 Wilhelmstrasse, Berlin. The porticoed main entrance. The Palais Strousberg, designed by Augustus Orth, dated from 1867-8. The British government purchased it as an Embassy in 1884. Photographed in 1939 before the outbreak of war. The building was demolished in 1950
