APSLEY HOUSE, London. Dessert plate from the Duke of Wellington's Saxon Service, made at Meissen in 1818. This was a gift to the Duke from the King of Saxony, and depict the battles he won during his military career. Here shown is the Battle of Fuentes d'Onoro (3-6 May 1811), during the Peninsular War.
