The Doddington Estate, just off Battersea Park Road, was designed by architects Emberton, Tardrew and Partners. The estate, which included tower blocks of flats, was built between 1967-71 by Laing for Wandsworth London Borough Council. It was built using their 12M Jespersen building system, consisting of prefabricated parts and precast concrete panels produced at their concrete factory in Andover
