The eighteenth-century former tower windmill at East Knoyle, photographed from Wise Lane to the south-west. In this view, the windows glass panes are shown broken; in later views they are shown with glass repaired.
Photograph AA80/00298 shows the building in 1940, with the window glass repaired and stonework renovated. The tower mill is reported to have had its weatherboarded capping and sails until about 1930
