The exterior of Eastfield, Ainsworth Lane
The exterior of Eastfield, Ainsworth Lane. Eastfield was home to William Lever Green's uncle George Green (b.1822), his wife Mary Green and his cousins. It was demolished at some point between 1952 and 1966. The site is now occupied by mid 20th century housing close to the junctions of Ainsworth Lane, Archer Avenue and Turner Bridge Road. GRE03/01/112 also shows Eastgate, probably at an earlier date, prior to insertion of the gabled dormers visible in this view
