Geoffrey Hughes Memorial Ground, Sports Pavilion, Liverpool. A corner of the glazed clubhouse of the 1960s sports pavilion at the Geoffrey Hughes Memorial Ground
The sports pavilion complex was designed by Gerald Beech, in association with Geoffrey Holland. It was built in 1962 and cost £101, 000. The complex, which includes changing room block, clubhouse and promenade, is Listed Grade II and won a Class One Award from the Civic Trust in 1963.
