The Sports Club Dramatic Section performed the play Johnny Belinda on the 19th, 20th and 21st October 1961 at Goodwyn Hall, Mill Hill. The play is set in the extreme north of Canada and tells the story of a young girl who is deaf. At the door donations raised a total of £8 and 10s for the Royal Association in Aid of the Deaf and Dumb. This image was published in December 1961 in Laing's monthly newsletter Team Spirit'.
