A group of men standing in front of the stone
A group of men standing in front of the stone gateway at Bredon's Norton Manor, with a further group standing at the doorway in the background. The gateway shown in the photograph is referred to in Victoria County History: Worcestershire vol 3 (1913), where it mentions that the gateway was blown down about twenty-five years ago and was carefully re-erected. As this photograph shows no datestone on the gateway but later photos do, it appears likely that this was taken before it was re-erected and a new datestone possibly carved at the same time
