APSLEY HOUSE, London. Ice pail from the Duke of Wellington's Prussian Service, made in Berlin 1817-19. This was a gift to the Duke from the King of Prussia, and here depicts scenes from the Peninsular War. Here shown are a British Highlander (42nd Foot - Black Watch) and Spanish Miquelet (militia from Catalonia or Valencia). WM1057_1948
