Stonehenge ahead
STONEHENGE, Amesbury, Wiltshire. A car drives past an AA box towards Stonehenge. Photograph 1930, from the Ministry of Works Blue Album. The Custodian's Cottage, on the left, was demolished in 1938. The AA Box and the Cafe have also been removed. The road forking right was permanently closed and grassed over in 2013. The road in the foreground and which forks left, is now the A303, towards Honiton and Exeter
