Swiss Centre, Coventry Street, Leicester Square, London
The interior of The Taverne at the Swiss Centre. The Swiss Centre was designed by David Aberdeen and was built by John Laing and Son Ltd. It had shops at street level with a market area and restaurants in the podium known as Swiss Fair and an eleven storey building above including offices and residential units. The building was demolished in 2008. The Taverne shown in the photograph had a ceiling made from 14, 000 bottles
