The 11-man B-29 crew commanded by Col. John Arnold released by Chinese on Aug. 4, 1955. They were shot down on Jan. 12, 1953 while dropping propaganda leaflets over North Korean near the Chinese border. In captivity they were mentally and physically tortured, put on trial and found guilty of spying'. (BSLOC_2014_11_186)
