African American crowd celebrates Voodoo Macbeth. It was a WPA production of Shakespeare's Macbeth, featuring an all-African American cast directed by 20 year old Orson Welles. The play was set in the Caribbean and substituted voodoo imagery for the European witchcraft. (BSLOC_2013_7_102)
