Algerian Turcos overcome German soldiers in house to house WW1 combat in Flanders. Contemporary drawing shows to ferocity of the Turcos in hand to hand combat in which they annihilated the Prussian infantry. Action took place during the First Battle of Ypres, on the east bank of the Ypres Canal, between Elverdinghe and Pilkum. Oct. 1914. (BSLOC_2012_4_163)
