Andersonville Prison. Hanging the Raiders leaders on July 11, 1864. A gang of about 100 prisoners robbed their fellow inmates of food, blankets, and valuables. Resisting inmates, the Regulators, received support from Confederate Captain Wirz, to police the stockade, hold trials, and inflict punishments, which ended the Raiders rule with their leaders execution
