Anti-war Army Capt. Howard Brett Levy handcuffed after receiving a 3 year sentence. June 3, 1967. Dr. Levy, a civil rights and anti-war activist, was convicted of making disloyal statements and disobeying an order. Trained as a dermatologist, he refused to train Special Forces troops who he believed would use their training for criminal purposes. After he served 26 months, he joined the GI Coffee House Protests. In 2015 he had a medical practice in Bronx, New York. (CSU_2015_11_1670)
