Auguste Piccard's balloon disappearing in smoke and flame, May 31, 1937. In the foreground is the basket. As the hot-air balloon was inflated, its car got entangled in the envelope while the hot air heater inside continue to operate. The wind caught the envelope and started a fire. Near Brussels, Belgium. (CSU_2015_9_991)
