Aviator Hubert Fauntleroy Julian returning from Ethiopia on the SS Ile-de-France, Nov. 1930. He was returning from Emperor Haile Selassie coronation where he performed a parachute landing within a few feet of Selassie throne, winning him Ethiopian citizenship. Shortly afterward he was expelled from the country after crashing the emperor?s personal airplane into an eucalyptus tree. (CSU_2015_8_636)
