Band of 114th Pennsylvania Infantry in front of Petersburg, Va. August, 1864. They played music at the headquarters of General George Meade, who shared the 114ths hometown, Philadelphia. Their Zouave uniform is based on French light-infantry units that fought during Frances colonization of North Africa
