Basil ?the Owl? Banghart, surrendered to FBI shortly after G-men killed two members of the gang. He was arrested with Roger Touly, in Chicago on Dec. 29, 1942. He had been at-large since escaping from Statesville prison last Oct. 9, 1942. He was ensnarled in the fake John Factor kidnapping, and sentenced to prison, as was Roger Touly. - (CSU_2015_6_240)
