Benny the Meatball Gamson, dead in a pool of blood on a Beverly Boulevard sidewalk. Oct. 3, 1946. The pudgy 39 year mob soldier was hit with at least six bullets shot from a big, black sedan. Gamson was in a dispute with Mickey Cohen, but the killing was never solved. (CSU_2015_9_718)
