Billie Sol Estes sits at right as television cameras
Billie Sol Estes sits at right as television cameras record the proceedings of his 1962 trial. On June 7, 1965, the Supreme Court reversed Estes conviction because parts of his state trial were televised. The court divided 5-4 on the question of reversal.
