The Bloody Massacre Perpetrated in King Street Boston on March 5th 1770, by a Party of the 29th Regiment. Paul Reveres famous print shows seven British soldiers firing their rifles into a patriot mob. This propaganda piece omitted all indications of the mobs provocation. They pelted the soldiers with stone filled snowballs, and taunted the soldiers by yelling fire. Reveres famous print of the Boston massacre was copied from an engraving by the Boston artist Henry Pelham
